I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I was working in the medical field in Taiwan, and wanted to continue working when I came to the US with my husband. I was also interested in the differences in our systems. There are many things that are better with the US system, and there are many things that are worse. It is because of these discrepancies that I believe that my education is valuable, not only do I have many things to learn but many things to share.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, my family, and the nursing program faculty.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Betty C. Baillargeon;
The Judith ALbright Memriol Nursing Scholarship;
and the Three Rivers College Foundation Charles Kitchings Memorial Scholarship.
Without whose financial and moral support I would likely have not finished my studies.

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

It allows me to get a Residential Nursing certificate so I can practice medicine.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The learning environment and the staff.

I plan to use my degree to:

Support my family, help my community, and make dollar dollar bills ya'll $$$.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Continuing my education by obtaining my Bachelors of Science of Nursing.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

The People.
