You’ve grown so much Sebastian!! I’m grateful to have met you and collaborated with you in our time as student leaders. It really was the friends that we made along the way the forged our sense of selves. I’ll always remember the times we had and look forward to the upcoming experiences as well! Congratulations once again Seb!

Well Done! You’ve worked so hard and deserve a victory lap! Keep reaching for the stars. Just one teensy correction. Your grandmother was our family’s first college grad but she would have burst from pride at your success. She had a BFA so its no wonder where you got your artistic lean. Love you to the moon and back.

Dude! I have watched you grow not only as a adult, but as a close friend. Saw the hardships and the success that come with it! I hope to see what your future provides for you not only to continue your growth but to further you as a great person!

You’ve overcome great trials and have shown great promise. Always doing your best even when you didn’t have much to give. Your journey to where you are now is all about you and the people that you’ve come to draw inspiration from, but your graduation is the culmination of everything that you’ve put your heart into. Congratulations Seb on your graduation and don’t lose sight of that passion that has brought you to greater heights!

    Dear Nim,
As you always say, the only constant is change. You came into TRCC with seeds, and by the time I met you, these seeds were sprouting into something incredible. Here you have met people, experienced things that have changed the fabric of your identity. When you faced uncertainty you sought the truth, protected friends, and allowed yourself the strength you needed to overcome. Not all memories here can be cherished, but I believe all of them have led to the culmination of a strong willed individual, and person I have grown to love. I didnt know it then, but joining SGA would change me forever. Though leaders come and go, you will always have a place in my heart, and I will carry the memories we made here in a special corner of my heart. Stay true to your path Nim, and go fearlessly into these unknown waters with open eyes, and a resolute heart.
    Love, Lume

Degree/Certificate:

Graphic Design, A.S.

Year of Graduation:

2020

I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.

Yes

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I want to express my creativity in the form of creating graphics for businesses, myself, and friends. I also want to be able to support myself financially, which an associate degree is essential for.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

Rhonda Spaziani, Alycia Ziegler, Betty Williamson, Robert Farinelli, and Lorenzo Enderle

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Alycia Ziegler and Rhonda Spaziani, for always supporting me and helping me to improve in my work ethic and helping me to become who I am truly meant to be. Without your support and advice, I wouldn't be where I am today and I am incredibly grateful for all that you've given me.

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

I love that through my degree program, I've been able to express myself through my creations and bring people's visions into the light. I value the joy that people express when they receive a graphic that they've been eagerly awaiting and the personal gratification of knowing that I've created something great for them or their business.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

What I enjoyed the most was the people that I met through my participation in clubs, Student Programs, and Student Government. I enjoyed going to work in the Student Programs every day and being involved in various student-run activities. I loved the bus trips, dances, Fresh Check Days, Student Leader Banquets, and all the other events that I participated in. I value the connections that I made and those that I've come to call my friends. I have changed immensely since coming to Three Rivers and become more of myself than I could ever be. I enjoyed the laughs and the unending support from professors like Betty Williamson and Rob Farinelli that helped me through my math courses which I struggled with immensely. It's difficult to describe how much this college and the people there mean to me and what exactly I enjoyed, because I enjoyed every moment at TRCC and it's saddening that I must progress, but I will never forget and always cherish my experience.

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

I've held the following positions: Treasurer of the Three Rivers United Environmentalists Club, Treasurer of the Students Advocating Gender Equality Club, Vice President of the Anime Club, President of Video Game Club, Secretary of the Student Government Association, Vice President of the Student Government Association, President of the Student Government Association. I've also been a Student Worker in the Student Programs Office from 2015-2020 and I've volunteered to work in the gardens as well as done volunteer work for the Audubon Society.

I plan to use my degree to:

Obtain a better job to help support me in my living situation.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

I am looking forward to entering a financial situation where I can sustain myself and continue my friendships that I made while in college. I am also looking forward to spending more time in my job field.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

Most of all, I will miss the people that I've met during my time at TRCC. It's only through the people that the environment they reside in becomes a home. Three Rivers will always be a home to me, and I'm happy that I made my own family there. Beyond that, I'll miss the joy of going to work every day and seeing the other student workers in the SPO office, and I'll miss Student Government as well. It feels like such a large part of me came from my time at TRCC and I hope that I can come and visit as an Alumni in the future.
