Degree/Certificate:

Psychology Studies, A.A.

Year of Graduation:

2020

I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.

Yes

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I am passionate about helping people and the best way to do so is to educate myself on people themselves!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My parents!

I’d like to give a shout out to:

My family and everyone else who has supported me since the beginning of this journey!

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

I was able to learn so much about people in different aspects and educate myself on ways to handle many life scenarios. This program means that I have a great base of information to continue my learning at ECSU and get myself going for a life-long career!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The relationships I made with a group of great people and the helpful school/community environment that allowed me to thrive and show my true academic potential!

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

Tabletop Games Club! Lots of fun and a great way to meet new friends and unwind in between classes!

I plan to use my degree to:

Further my education at Eastern Connecticut State University, receive my B.S. in Behavioral Analysis Studies, and potentially go even further for my master's or doctorate!

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Getting into my specific area of interest (behavioral studies) and pushing myself to succeed at a bigger institution!

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

The community and small campus. I made some great friends that helped me get through the days with more ease and the small class sizes definitely helped with teacher communication and learning! I will miss Three Rivers very much!
