2020I wanted to earn my degree because:
I love helping others. I consider myself a selfless individual. I once heard a quote, “enjoy what you do for work and you’ll never work a day in your life” or something like that ... well that’s how I see nursing.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My peers, my instructor, my family, and friends.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
Cheryl Gilot: for instilling in me early the drive to succeed in this program and be an effective operator out in the profession of nursing.
The rest of the nursing educators for being so amazing and supportive.
My classmates for being the best nursing students, now go be the best nurses!
The Super Squad and Shanice for all the study group help one could ever ask for!
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
It means everything to me. I found myself working a blue collar job with a low ceiling that I’d almost hit before getting into this program. I viewed it as a second chance. And a chance to give back; that’s what I call a win-win.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
Cultivating friendships with so many individuals.
Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

I plan to use my degree to:
Save lives.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Going back to college!
