I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.

Yes

I wanted to earn my degree because:

To better myself, set an example for my sons, and to set a personal goal and achieve it.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My wife Christie and my five sons. It wasn't easy balancing home life and school, but together we did it!

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Mark Comeau- for being a great advisor and mentor in the field and sharing his knowledge to his students. He also was always available when needed and had the best stories to share!

My math professors Dr. Kelly Molkenthin and Elise Adams Czaja and my Physics professor Mr. Niedbala for taking the time during class and after to make sure I really understood the work. They helped out greatly when needed.

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

Growing up in the construction field and having so many different jobs, after going through these courses I was able to find a passion in Drafting, Construction Estimating, and Project Management. This will most likely be my career until I retire.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

Just learning all aspects of the construction and architecture field that I wasn't exposed to previously. It has opened my eyes and given me an exciting career path.

I plan to use my degree to:

I've already started working as a Project Coordinator for a major Granite/Stone company immediately after completing my last course at TRCC. I plan to continue drafting, estimating, and project management as long as possible.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Working, gaining more knowledge and experience, and climbing up the ranks within my company. I have been trained well thanks to TRCC and my past work/military experiences.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

Meeting new people and vets, hearing their stories and goals, and the faculty.
