I wanted to earn my degree because:

I wanted to earn my medical assistant degree because I wanted to help as many people in my community as I can. Going to TRCC made it not only affordable, but more efficient to do so.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My greatest supporters while earning my degree were my teachers Dawn and Luann. Also, my family and classmates (who turned into friends as the semesters went on). This was because every time I had doubted myself, someone would be there to cheer me on.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

To Dawn and Luann for being the best teachers for this program!

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

What I like most about my program is how close we became as a class. Not only do we push each other to strive, but we also are such great friends. It means a lot to have people who believe in me outside of my teachers and family. It is wonderful having the whole class believe that you can do anything and having each other to bounce ideas off of.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

I have enjoyed the campus life. It’s a really nice campus, even for a community college. I also enjoyed hanging out either outside in the patio area or in the cafeteria when it was cold. The library was also really big in helping me complete my school work.

I plan to use my degree to:

I plan to use my degree to work at a medical office, as of right now GI. My future goal is nursing, so getting the experience with an MA certificate helps me learn various roles in a healthcare facility.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

I’m most looking forward to being able to work in a healthcare facility and seeing not only myself succeed, but my classmates as well.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

I will miss the teachers, the friends I made, and the campus when I graduate TRCC, not to mention how affordable it is!
