I wanted to earn my degree because:

I decided that life is too short to settle for a career that doesn't bring joy.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, Michael. He encouraged me to take a big leap ... and he kept me caffeinated with countless cups of tea.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Reliance Health for allowing me to flex work hours in order to attend day classes!

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

This program has helped me find a job in the mental health field, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve the community that raised me.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The opportunity for internships and independent studies.

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

Volunteering at the Saint Vincent de Paul Place soup kitchen in Norwich.

I plan to use my degree to:

Continue my studies in SCSU's Master of Social Work program this Fall 2020, specifically in the Co-Occurring Disorders cohort.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Naps!

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
