Degree/Certificate:

Nursing, A.S.

Year of Graduation:

2022

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I have always dreamt of one day helping people who are like me, who have struggled like me, and who are going through things that I've been through and overcome. I want to show other people that they can overcome their darkest times and create a bright and beautiful life full of meaning.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

Kathy, Christine, my parents, my sister, and my grandparents.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Kathy, for putting up with all of my dramatics, helping me through this, and always believing in me!

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

I love the support that you get from all of the instructors, even the ones that come off hardcore and unapproachable. The instructors were all so supportive, they really cared about their students and their lives outside of school. They want us to be successful and they will do whatever they can to support us. Having the support from my instructors meant everything to me and really helped me be successful! I wouldn't be in this position if it weren't for my instructors.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the small campus. I met a lot of wonderful people during my time at Three Rivers.

I plan to use my degree to:

Help people who are struggling with the things that I have overcome. I want to be the light in someone's darkness, a lighthouse guiding them through the storm of life, proving to them that there is good in the world and dreams really can come true!

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

I am looking forward to using everything I learned to treat and heal people who need healing.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

I'll miss the people, the instructors, the administrators, the advisors... I'll miss the support and kindness that these people showed me.
