2020I wanted to earn my degree because:
I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I am proud that I did, even if it took me over 20 years to achieve it. I also wanted to be a great role model for my daughters. I just hope they don't take as long a I did!
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My fiancé Drew, my two daughters Brittany and Bella, my Mom, stepdad Steve, and my sisters Amanda and Jessica. They all did their part in supporting me and without them I wouldn't have been able to finish getting my degree.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
A big thank you to all my family, friends, and advisor , Sheila for always supporting and encouraging me not to give up because I was so close!!!!
A thank you to my TVCCA Head Start and Little Learners co-workers for supporting me and giving me the confidence. I needed over the last 21 years to complete my degree .
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
That big or small, I can make a difference in a child's life.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
The supportive team of faulty and staff. I also loved getting to see my mom on the campus during class breaks. It was also fun to take some classes with my daughter Brittany!!
I plan to use my degree to:
To continue supporting children's growth both socially and academically.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Furthering my education by working towards a bachelor's degree.
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
I still plan on returning to Three Rivers in the fall to take courses that will transfer towards my bachelor's degree.
