I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.

Yes

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mom and stepdad, my dad, and my grandmother. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't without the endless love and support from all of you. Thank you for being there through the exciting times and all of the tears.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Nicole, Christina, Lisa and Kathryn for being by my side throughout the whole program. I am lucky to have met you guys and wouldn't have been able to do it without you all. Also, to my 5-2 crew at YNHH - thank you for supporting me on this journey and teaching me new things along the way.

I plan to use my degree to:

Transition from the role of a PCA to a Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital on a Heart & Vascular Unit!

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Spending a little more time with my friends and family!
