2021I wanted to earn my degree because:
I love learning! Having my Associates Degree will help me advance in life by giving me better job opportunities & allowing me to continue my education for less.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
MY FAMILY & best friends! My amazing advisor Maria Krug! Kenneth Briggs and the whole Financial Aid office. Alycia Ziegler and Marie Hoffman! Everyone in the Office of President Mary Ellen Jukoski! Professor O'Shea, Professor Mayer and all of the professors that supported me throughout the pandemic and overcoming covid.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
President Mary Ellen Jukoski, Kathryn Gaffney, Alexa Shelton, Meghan La Casse, Betty Baillargeon, April Hodson, and Judy Hardy for all the love and support you have given me! I will miss you all so much!
Ms. Phyllis Brown for always helping with whatever I needed (even when you didn't have to) 🙂
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
I love that I could take different classes that I was interested in and it still applied to my degree. This really helped me figure out what I wanted to do with my life and learn more about myself.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
Student programs events and my student worker job! I won cool prizes, ate great, and met new friends at all student programs events! My student worker position allowed me to make awesome connections and opened so many doors for me.
Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:
Student Government Association
Alpha and Omega Christian Club
Student Programs Volunteer
TRCC Race and Equity Task Force
I plan to use my degree to:
Transition to a four-year degree program and maybe get a job in government or public relations.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Spending time with my family, cooking for family and friends, and most of all going on lots of vacations!!
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
I will miss the faculty and staff so much. I am going to miss everyone in the President's Office, my advisor Maria Krug (even though I'm still going to contact her all the time), and the student programs events!
Congratulations Grace!!!! You know we are so proud of you!! Keep working hard and continue to follow your dreams! When you are able to work with great people doing what you love, it feels as though you never had to work a day in your life. I am thankful that you have been able to experience this by attending school and working at Three Rivers!!

I am glad you engaged in studies at Three Rivers Community College, this decision has been very pivotal in your academic and career development.
