2020I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.
YesI wanted to earn my degree because:
I wanted to be what God has put in my heart. To serve his people, to be a voice when someone can’t speak, a hand to help lift someone up, a smile when the world is crashing, a light when it’s too dark. I want to make a difference as a nurse; I wanted to advance my career from LPN to becoming a professional Registered Nurse. I did just that!
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My husband, three children, mom, dad, my late grandmother and church family!
I’d like to give a shout out to:
My husband, when I am weak ... you are strong! Thank you for always pushing me, guiding me, and mostly loving me.
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
My instructors were awesome! Thank you to Linda!!! If it wasn’t for your encouragement I wouldn’t have graduated when I did!
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
I never thought I would become friends with anyone but Lilie was right! My very best friends were sitting next to me the whole time!
Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

I plan to use my degree to:
Learn as much as I can, continue my life long dream of missionary nursing.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Making a difference in nursing care; the art of holistic nursing.
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
Seeing my amazing friends every week.
