2020I wanted to earn my degree because:
I want to provide the best life for my kids by having a stable job and I want to take care of people.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My boyfriend, kids, parents, sisters, grandparents, aunts & uncles, and friends.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
My mom for sacrificing her job to take care of my kids so I could pursue school. My boyfriend for supporting our family while I wasn't working. My Grandmama for helping me study and babysitting. My sisters and dad for also babysitting so I could study or attend clinical.
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
How I progressed throughout the program. I've developed more confidence in myself as a nurse and my critical thinking skills. It means that this chapter in my life is closing and opening new doors for me.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
Making new friends.
I plan to use my degree to:
work in a hospital.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
Getting out in the work force and making a difference in peoples lives.
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
The people.
Dear Elisa…Grandpa Joe & I are so proud of your accomplishment. As a nurse you will see the best & the worst, the joy & the pain, the fear & the end. Just be yourself. You are everything a nurse should be. ❤ Grandmama
I am so proud of you Elisa and So happy I’ve had you over the last year and a half to get through the hardest but most rewarding chapter! Love you lady!!
