Nursing, A.S.

Current Residence :

Colchester

Degree/Certificate:

Nursing, A.S.

Year of Graduation:

2020

I am the first in my family to earn a college degree.

Yes

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I have wanted to be a nurse for most of my life. I could not imagine doing anything else!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mom and sister. They did everything they could to help me through the nursing program.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

My mom, Sharon, my sister, Alle, Nan, Grampa, Aunt Carol, Matt, and my cousins, Amanda & Natalie. You all helped me and pushed me through my degree program and have supported me always. I love you all!!

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

This program is well known for turning out exceptional nurses. Many of my friends came through this program and the graduates are highly sought after in the nursing field.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The class sizes. None of my classes were huge and I was able to actually talk to and be known by my professors.

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

National Society of Leadership and Success.

I plan to use my degree to:

Start my career in the nursing field.
