Christopher is one of the most focused and disciplined people I know – This journey hasn’t always been an easy one, but you’ve always found a way to persevere with a smile. So proud of the person you have become and the bright future you have before you still to conquer! I’m a proud Mom! There’s nothing you can’t do! Congratulations!!

Chris – to the guy who beat me at getting over $500 in advertising for The Current, I congratulate you on your graduation!! I wish school didn’t end as it did, because I think you and I tag-teaming on Kevin would have been awesome!!!!

Perhaps we’ll meet at the bowling alley some day.

Congratulations, Chris! We loved having you as our Graphic Design Intern this semester even if it was all online. Your future is bright. We’ll miss you and hope you stop by someday when we’re back in the building.

Graphic Design, A.S.

Current Residence :

Canterbury

Degree/Certificate:

Graphic Design, A.S.

Year of Graduation:

2020

I wanted to earn my degree because:

My mother is the driving force behind my education. She has bigger dreams for myself than even I do, I wasn't going to be the one to tell her "No."

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mom, brother, sister, Kevin Amenta, and Tyler Riddle.

I’d like to give a shout out to:

Z, Gillian, The Current Spring '20, and- of course- "The Boys."

What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:

Graphic Design is a practical implementation of art into a professional career. With this degree, I do not have to sacrifice my creativity for profit and can actually embrace it.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The student and faculty community of TRCC is one of the kindest and most sincere groups of people I have ever encountered in my life. Even in the midst of friendly competition with your peers to be the best in your field, there is never ending support and encouragement at this school.

Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:

The Current

I plan to use my degree to:

Begin to freelance and enter the work force as a professional level graphic designer.

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Going into the workforce and preparing to tackle the next step in my college journey at CCSU.

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

The friends I have made in students who still attend, getting coffee with faculty who have fought tooth and nail to get me to the finish line, walking to Tyler's house (who lived 30 seconds from campus), the campus itself, and Norwich, CT.
