WaterfordDegree/Certificate:
General Studies, A.S.Year of Graduation:
2020I wanted to earn my degree because:
Getting my associates degree took me three attempts and 16 years. Graduating from TRCC is a huge milestone for me and I hope I have been a role model for my children in pursuing my dream of getting a college education.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My husband Matt, my grandmother, my mom and dad, my daughters Cadence, Emma and Jordyn, my sister Kelly.
I’d like to give a shout out to:
My former boss at Electric Boat, Jean Marie, she was truly a great role model to me and my biggest inspiration for going back to college.
What I like best about my degree program and what it means to me is:
I really enjoyed all the wonderful professors I had at TRCC, and all the positivity they gave me. The best part about my degree program though IS THAT I FINISHED IT!
What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:
Dr. Diba Kahn-Bureau's classes.
Clubs, volunteer work, organizations that I participated in while at Three Rivers included:
as a mom of four, I did not have time for that, unfortunately.
I plan to use my degree to:
continuing my education and transferring to Eastern Connecticut State University.
Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:
more college!
What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:
how close to my home it is, and the friendly security guards.
