Degree/Certificate:

Nursing, A.S.

Year of Graduation:

2020

I wanted to earn my degree because:

I wanted to have a degree in something that I absolutely love. Helping and supporting others has always been a natural thing for me and to wake up everyday knowing that I have a job where I can do so is an amazing feeling

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My whole family and my amazing best friend, Ashley, who I met in the nursing program and started this journey with

I’d like to give a shout out to:

My mom and dad who were there every step of the way pushing me to do my best, my sisters and brother for their words of encouragement whenever I felt down and my best friend Ashley who went through this crazy program with me, we never gave up hope and we did it!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at Three Rivers Community College was:

The amazing faculty and friends that I was able to meet

I plan to use my degree to:

Help, support and take care of others who are sick and in need of someone to be there for them

Now that I have completed college, I’m most looking forward to:

Starting my career as a pediatric nurse or labor and delivery nurse. Taking care of others has always been in my nature and I absolutely cannot wait to start my journey

What I’ll miss most about Three Rivers is:

Seeing the friends I have made every week, whether it was in class or in clinical
