Three Rivers professor hosts amphibian walkTake a  walk at Walden Preserve on Friday, April 26th at 5:30 pm. The walk is led by Three Rivers Professor Diba Khan-Bureau, Ph.D., the Program Coordinator for Environmental Engineering Technology and Biology TAP Pathway in the Science and Math Department at Three Rivers.  A number of her students from the Environmental Engineering Technology program will be there to help the participants find “Spring Peepers” and other creatures.

This adventure is extremely popular with families and for children of all ages. No rain date, remember amphibians love the rain.

The warm days should help bring out our small amphibious friends. Wear sturdy footwear and don’t forget the tick repellent. Walden Preserve is on Hagen Road, just a short distance from the traffic circle.

Call 860-859-3520 for more information.
