Enrollment Steps

Your assigned banner/student ID number and Community College e-mail address are noted on your acceptance letter. You will need this information to establish your myCommNet and student e-mail accounts. It is imperative that you set up both accounts to receive important information regarding your progress.
Set up your myCommNet and Student E-mail account

You will need your initial Net ID and Password to establish your account. Your initial Net ID and Password format is available at myCommNet (for your initial password refer to “What is my initial NetID password?”).

You are encouraged to complete the online free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov using the TRCC school code “009765”.  For students beginning in Spring 2018, please be sure to complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA using your 2015 income tax returns. Important information about your financial aid will be sent to your student e-mail and myCommNet accounts.*

New first-time college students are required to complete on campus placement testing to assist with course selection for English and/or math.

Schedule your placement test with your student ID# at:

SAT and/or ACT scores: if you took these tests, your scores will be included for placement consideration. Please submit a copy of your scores to the Admissions Office.
Students who have taken the SAT within the past 5 years may be waived from the English portion of the Accuplacer placement test if the following test scores are met:

Test date prior to March 2016:
SAT Critical Reading OR SAT Writing: 450 or higher

Test date March 2016 or later:
SAT Reading: 25 or higher
SAT Writing & Language: 26 or higher

Note: If you have taken the SAT in the last 5 years and you meet the minimum score requirement above, please indicate “math only” when scheduling your test.

Proof of High School Completion

Submit one of the following to the Admissions Office: copy of your high school transcript with graduation date, high school diploma, or GED certificate.
High School Transcriptrequired if within the last 5 years (2012 -2016)

Immunization Requirements 

Provide proof of Measles/Mumps/Rubella/Varicella (MMRV) Immunizations to the Admissions Office. Depending on your date of birth, these requirements may vary. For more information on this requirement refer to the State Immunization Form (pdf).

Course Descriptions and Schedules

Spring 2018 – Fees are expected at the time of registration, total tuition owed is payable by December 26, 2017.

Winter 2017 – Tuition and Fees are expected at the time of registration.

An official financial aid award can be applied as payment. Payment plans are available for students registering for 6 or more credits.
