Electrical Engineering Technology, A.S.
This program offers a unique set of courses designed to provide you with the skills required by industry in Connecticut and throughout the Northeast Region. Focused on automated controls, Laser/Fiber Optics core has been incorporated into the program, and the automated controls courses have been expanded to include additional focus on Robotics. You can design your own concentration through project opportunities offered in several courses.
The Program offers core courses in Electrical, Electronics, Lasers, Optics and Automated Controls. Some related areas include Electrical Power/Alternate Energy, Machine Vision, Wireless/Fiber Optic Communications, Internet of Things (IoT) and others. All courses are taught in state-of-the-art laboratories with an emphasis on hands on experience through lab exercises, demonstrations and projects. Upon graduation, you will be prepared for employment in industrial automation, manufacturing/test engineering, product development and other roles in a variety of industries.
