Tom Worthley, Assistant Extension Professor at UConn Extension Services
On Wednesday, February 15, Tom Worthley, of UConn Extension Office Forestry Program, will be present a seminar, “Stormwise Roadside Forest Management,” as part of the Spring 2017 Environmental Issues Seminars. It runs from 6-8:30 p.m. in room C101 and includes a Q&A. It is free and open to the public.

Worthley is Assistant Extension Professor at the University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension Service and the University of Connecticut Department of Natural Resources and the Environment. He has written a number of scholarly articles and also teaches courses in Forest Ecology and Management and Dendrology. He has worked extensively on tracts in the UConn Forest and beyond in both outreach and educational activities.

The Spring 2017 Environmental Issues Seminars features prominent scientists on multiple topics on the environment. They are held weekly on Wednesdays through May 17 in room C111, starting at 6:00 p.m. They are free and open to the public.
