Take a  walk at Walden Preserve on NOTE: DATE CHANGED to Friday, May 19th at 5:30 pm. Environmental Science Professor and Program Coordinator of Environmental and Civil Engineering Technology Programs at Three Rivers, Diba Khan-Bureau will lead the walk. A number of her students from the environmental engineering technology STRONG-CT will be there to help the participants find “spring peepers” and other creatures.
This adventure is extremely popular with families and for children of all ages. No rain date, remember amphibians love the rain.
The warm days should help bring out our small amphibious friends. Wear sturdy footwear and don’t forget the tick repellent. Walden Preserve is on Hagen Road, just a short distance from the traffic circle.
