Academic Advising / Find a Class

Always ready to help you succeed

Degree and Certificate Programs

Students enrolled in degree or certificate programs work with an academic advisor from our Guided Pathways Advising Center who can help you one-on-one with your specific questions. Your academic advisor can help you choose a program of study that suits your interests, as well as to sort out the different class choices involved. The process will also determine your Math and English placement, based on your school transcript(s), testing, and face-to-face discussion.

In the first few weeks of your first semester, you will be assigned a permanent advisor, who is typically a faculty member from your field of study. This advisor will continue to work with you in the semesters ahead to stay on track towards your degree, and help with matters such as changing your major.
